PVT Albert J. Williams

PVT. Albert James Williams was born January 15, 1896 in Dolphin Virginia. In 1918, he was drafted by the United States Army where he served in WWI. In 1942, he was ordered to re-enlist in the US Army during WWII. He died in the Bronx, at the NY Veterans Hosp. He's buried at Johnson Grove Cemetery in Lawrenceville, Va.

It's their prolonged suffering, sacrifices and contributions in building America that must be included in American History. Throughout every historical society and public and private school system, African American History must be taught.
